Robert Half is Hiring a Human Resources (HR) Manager Near Vancouver, WA

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Manager in Vancouver, Washington. In this role, you will be providing comprehensive generalist Human Resources expertise, support, and direction across the organization. This encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, from managing Agency Policies and Procedures, Labor Contract, and State and Federal laws to overseeing recruitment, compensation, performance management, and employee relations.Responsibilities:• Serve as the initial point of advice, problem resolution, and facilitation in areas of employee relations, performance management, and employee discipline.• Ensure policies are up-to-date and compliant with applicable law.• Provide professional and technical guidance to the Director and management staff on career development, classification and pay, and compliance with labor laws.• Consult with Director and management staff regarding personnel actions and potential liabilities related to human resources issues. • Administer benefits programs including insurance and retirement. Oversee enrollments and terminations, and serve as a liaison between employees, benefit providers, and the payroll service.• Attend fact-finding meetings with supervisors and employees, making recommendations and taking action as appropriate.• Represent the Director on Human Resources issues and provide interpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.• Work with hiring managers in the planning, approval, recruitment, screening, and selection of new staff.• Conduct new employee orientation and process new hire paperwork.• Create and administer training programs for managers and employees. • Monitor and track due dates of Performance Reviews to ensure timely completion.Salary Range: $ 89,928 - $123,972Bonus: N/A Benefits Medical: YesVision: YesDental: YesLife & Disability Insurance: YesRetirement Plans (401K, pension, etc): Pension Paid Time Off **Number of days a hired applicant can expect.Paid Vacation: 18Paid Holidays: 12Sick leave: 12Please contact Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half to review this position.
